摘要
在实时指纹识别系统中,图像增强的效果好坏将影响特征提取及指纹鉴别的识别率.Gabor滤波器应用在指纹图像增强处理时,首先求出局部区域中纹线的主导方向,每个像素点处的方向取为其所在局部区域的方向,然后用投影分析法求每个像素点处的频率,最后用中心频率和中心方向与像素点的方向和频率相同的Gabor滤波对每个像素点进行滤波处理,从而去除图像噪声,达到了增强图像的目的.
A Gabor filter is applied in the fingerprint image enhancement. Designing of a filter plays an important role in the algorithms. This helps obtain the dominant local ridge direction,each pixel point, frequency of each pixel, and with Gabor filter processing with each pixel, the noise can be removed from the fingerprint images effectively. Likewise, the fingerprint image is enhanced.
