摘要
非裔美国文学理论(黑人文学理论)的发展历程比黑人文学史的地位在美国文学历史上确立要晚得多,这个漫长的经历体现了黑人文学批评艺术的"杂糅性"特征,它正式发端于20世纪初叶,历经了黑人美学的确立、黑人文学理论的勃兴、黑人女性主义的发展壮大以及黑人文学理论发展的新趋势四个重要阶段。各阶段代表人物的理论主张各异,但是总体趋势是逐渐走向成熟,呈现多元发展态势,非裔美国文学理论不仅从边缘化的地位走向了文学研究的中心地带,而且已经步入美国文学理论经典的殿堂。
It is a long and hard process to have the African American literary theory (Black literary theory) established in the literary history of the United States of America. This process embodies the "hybridity" of Black literary crticism, which formally initiated at the beginning of the 20th century, which experienced four stages: the establishment of Black aesthetics, the flowering of Black literary theory, the prosperity of Black feminism and new directions for Black literary theory. Though the representaitves at different stages hold respective theoretical asser- tions, their theories are becoming more and more mature than ever before, along with the plural developing trends. Furthermore, African American literary theory has not only moved from margin to center of literary study, but also has been canonized in the circle of American literary theory.
