介绍了在横向连续铸造工艺中产生气体缺陷的主要原因；阐述了气体缺陷对板材产品质量的影响；提出了应从熔炼炉状况、熔体条件、精炼条件、熔体静置、铸造等各个方面防止板材气体缺陷的产生。
The factors that affect the porosity in transversally cast ingot are related,porosity is very detrimental to the mechanical properties and surface quality of sheet.The formation of porosity in ingot can be prevented by precautions covering various aspects of the processing like melting furnace,melting condition,refining,melt holding and casting.
