籽蒿和白刺是典型的旱生、沙生植物，有明显的适应风沙干旱地区的生物生态学特性，其分布广泛、面积大、生产力较高，具有重要的经济利用价值。
A.sphaerocephala and N. tangutorum are typical xerophytes and psammophytes. They have biological and ecological characteristics, which are obviously adapted for windy and sandy condition in dry area, both have features with widely spred, high productivity and important economic utilization value.
