快轴流气体激光器预电离的放电特性实验研究

摘要 通过对直流激励快轴流CO2激光器的交流预电离的研究,发现预电离能降低起辉电压,提高放电电流的稳定性,有效地消除激光器相邻阴极间的“拉弧”现象.还对这一现象进行了理论分析. A method of high frequency preionization in DC FAF laser is presented. While high voltage with high frequency is applied to an anode and a copper ring clung to discharge glass tube, the effect of preionization expected is seen. The influence of preionization on the main discharge was observed. The conclusion from the characteristic curve of voltage-current is thatpreionization can decrease the ignition voltage and improve the stability of main discharge. The preionization decreases the perturbation of current resulting from decreasing the voltagebetween two cathode of two adjoining discharge tube preventing the glow discharge turning to arc.Both experimental and theoretical work indicates that the preionization is an effective method to improve the stability of discharge.
