摘要
给出了海上目标地波散射雷达截面的计算方法.首先把目标的地波散射问题转化为求解理想导体平面上目标对垂直极化平面波的散射,利用时域有限差分方法得到所关心频段内的目标雷达散射截面;然后由地波传播理论求得包括随机起伏粗糙海面影响在内的地波传播衰减因子.从雷达方程出发,对海上舰船雷达散射截面的计算值与实测值进行对比,表明了该方法的可行性.
This paper presents an approach for computing the ground wave scattered radar cross section (RCS) of a target on the sea. The scattering problem is modeled as an object on the perfect conductor (PEC) plane illuminated by the perpendicular polarized plane wave, and the RCS within the operation frequency range of radar is computed by the FDTD method. Then, the attenuation factor including the effect of rough sea is evaluated by using the theory of ground wave propagation. A comparison of the calculated RCS value and the measured data for a ship on the sea shows the feasibility of the presented approach.
