摘要
基于弹簧质点模型的布料模拟仿真中,如果弹簧强度过大,会引起布料抖动;强度变小,会出现超弹性现象。为了避免超弹性现象,提出动态约束法限制弹簧的可伸长长度;基于该约束模型还构建一种的不需要更新的层次包围球,加快自碰撞检测。这两种方法的结合,增强了模拟布料的逼真性,加快了布料模拟速度。
There is a severe problem in cloth simulation based on mass-spring model: strong springs lead to instability of simulated cloth, conversely weak springs lead to elastically looking cloth or super elasticity. To avoid the super elasticity, a dynamic constraint method was proposed to restrict the tensile length of springs; and based on the constrained cloth model a bounding sphere hierarchy (BSH) without updating was constructed for self-collision detection. The combination of the two methods enhances the reality of simulated cloth and expedites the rate of cloth simulation.
