摘要
中美关系是新中国最重要的对外关系之一。中美关系60年来的跌宕起伏，给我们许多深刻的启示：利益交汇是中美关系发展的根本动力；从大局出发把握分歧，努力推进中美关系的平稳发展；中美和平共处的新型大国关系是中美关系的必然选择。未来，中美之间的竞争仍不可避免，但不会是两败俱伤的“零和”博弈，在全球化浪潮的推动下，在两国相互依存的大背景下，合作共赢符合两国的根本利益。
China-U.S. relationship is one of the most important external relations for New China. The ups and downs of that relationship during the past 60 years have given us a great deal of enlightenment. Convergence of interests is the chief motive force in the development of China-U.S. relations; it is necessary to take the whole situation into account and deal with disputes between the two sides so as to achieve a smooth growth of those ties; A new type of big -power relationship based on peaceful coexistence is a logical alternative for China-U.S. relationship. In the near future, competitions between China and the U.S. can hardly be avoided, but the outcome will not be a zero-sum game with neither side gaining. Driven by the globalization, China and the U.S. now live in a circumstance of mutual interdependence, so, a cooperative and win-win result accords with fundamental interests of the two countries.
