摘要
宗教是文化的一部分,渗透到社会文化生活的方方面面。从广义上讲,宗教的历史也就是一部人类文化的历史,而语言又是某个民族文化、风俗习惯的载体。研究中国宗教与基督教对东西方文化的影响,可以正确地认识宗教的作用,以利于我们了解彼此的语言、文化背景、思维方式、价值观,以利于我们在跨文化交际过程中避免产生文化误读现象。
Religion is a part of culture, which penetrates into social life here or there. Broadly speaking, the history of religion is also the history of human culture. Language embodies a certain nation＇ s culture and customs. The research concerning the impact of Chinese religion and Christianity on eastern and western culture may help people know the religious function better. That will be of great benefit to learn language, cultural background, way of thinking, and social values and to avoid cultural misunderstanding in the process of intercultural communication.
