摘要
《大学英语课程教学要求》指出,大学英语教学实践必须以新的教育理念来指导教学的各个环节,重视教学模式的改革,突出学生在教学活动中的主体地位。改进传统英语课堂教学模式的不足,大学英语教学就应做到五个注重:注重课堂教学以学生为中心,注重激发学生学习兴趣,注重培养学生的自主学习意识,注重指导学生的课外学习,注重以考核学生的学习过程为主。
College English Curriculum Requirements states that teachers should pay much attention to the principal role of students in college English classroom teaching. This paper analyses the disadvantages of the traditional teaching model and promotes learner-centered teaching model which emphasizes the following five aspects in the process of teaching. Teachers should regard students as the focus of classroom teaching; teachers should stimulate learners＇ interest in learning English, to cultivate learners＇ awareness of autonomous learning, to guide learners self-learning after class and to evaluate learners＇ learning process.
