本文介绍了虚拟仪器的发展概况，虚拟仪器的概念、特点，虚拟仪器的关键技术及其应用。虚拟仪器是计算机、应用软件及仪器硬件的组合，是一个新概念，一种新技术，有着强大的发展潜力。
In this paper, the survey on the development of virtual instrument (VI) is mentioned first. It also presents the concept and characteristics of VI. It details the key technologie of VI. VI is composed of a computer, software and an instrument card. It is a new concept and a new technology.
