激光聚变作为热核聚变的途径之一,经过廿多年的研究,道路已基本探明,确认高温高压、均匀压缩、短波驱动、中心点火是实现点火的关键所在。现正处于取得突破性进展的前夜。
The fundamental principle and the latest advances of laser fusion are introduced. It indicates that the laser fusion is already close to the gate of ignition. If the funds are enough, the thermonuclear power plant for test will be built in the beginning of twenty-(?)irst century.
