摘要 加入WTO后,我国国际化进程不断加快,对新型国际化人才的需求急剧增加。而以培养一流国际化人才为使命的宁波诺丁汉大学则为我国培养具有国际化思维与视野的高层次人才提供了支持。其"以学生为中心"的独特教学理念和以培养学生自主学习研究能力、批判性思维能力为目的的创新性教学组织形式犹如注入我国高等教育的一股新鲜血液。通过对宁波诺丁汉大学的分析,以期引起教育界对WTO背景下我国高等教育创新的思考。 Since the successful accession to the WTO, China has accelerated its process of interna- tionalization and meanwhile, the demand of China's human resource market for the new - type interna- tionalized talents has risen sharply as well. The University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China, whose mission is to cultivate the first--class international talents, to much extent, can meet the demands. Its u- nique student - centered teaching concept and the new teaching organization focusing on fostering students' self- learning and research ability and critic thinking ability are just like the fresh blood injected into the Chinese Higher Education System. This paper mainly analyses the teaching mode of the U- niversity of Nottingham, Ningbo, China's in order to give some reflection on the relationship between the WTO and the innovation in the higher education in our country.
