摘要
近代苏南农村剩余劳动力的大量转移是一个毋庸置疑的客观事实，在其转移的过程中，虽然近代工商业的发展无疑起了重要作用，但本文的研究证明，农业内部产业结构的调整仍是消化农村剩余劳动力的主要途径，植棉业、蚕桑业、园艺和畜牧业的迅速发展使农业内部吸纳的农村劳动力达70％，农业收入亦占农家总收入的80％左右。
Although the development of the modern industries and commerces had played an important role in the shift of rural labors, the adjustment of agricultrual structure, such as the development of the cotton cultivation, sericulture, horticulture and animal husbandry, is still the principal way of rural labors'shift.By this adjustment,70%of the total rural labors was engaged in agriculture and 80% 0f total family income was gained from agriculture.
