A type of auto orientation pan is introduced, with its principle being demonstrated. The components of the system are described, and its circuit diagram is also offered. Emphasis has been placed on its attitude controlling algorithm, including the emerging process of all controlling parameters, and the method for determining attitude adjusting. This apparatus has been adopted for maritime security in Olympic Sailing Games, and has achieved expected effects.
