摘要
西南岩溶区跨越黔、滇、桂、川、渝、湘、鄂、粤８省（市），面积５４万ｋｍ２，２３６个岩溶县，１亿多人口，是国内外最大的连片岩溶区之一，也是全球岩溶之瑰宝。但对其整体性、系统性的综合研究，目前基本上还处于空白。本文从区域岩溶特征到资源、环境、社会、经济进行较为系统的综述，以期引起更多的关注。
おhe karst region with a total area of 540000 km2 extends across Guizhou,Yunnan, Guangxi, Sichuan,Chongqing, Hubei, Guangdong, including 236 counties and more than a hundred million people. The region is one of the largest karst areas, and is the karst treasure in the world. Although there have been a lot of reseaches before, the systematic synthetical researches as a whole have rarely been done. This paper systematically summarizes the regional karst features, the resources, the environment, the social backgrounds and the economy of the area.
