1992年8月至1993年5-6月在渤海调查时取得了大量海洋生物样品,从中获得400个消化道内含有食物的小拟哲水蚤标本,经分析得出:小拟哲水蚤营浮游植物食性,主要摄食硅藻类(占其食物组成的99.6%),其中辐射圆筛藻、未查明的圆筛藻和偏心圆筛藻都是它的主要摄食对象,分别占其食物组成的36.8%、30.7%和14.2%。此外,它也摄食少量的甲藻类(0.4%)。它的食物组成是有一定的季节变化,但不很明显,四季几乎都是以辐射圆筛藻、未查明的圆筛藻和偏心圆筛藻内主,食物种类更替率各季平均为20%,食物类群更替率各季平均只有0.5%。它的摄食强度则有显示的季节变化,春季最低,夏季出现第一个高峰,秋季下降,冬季出现第二个高峰。
An attempt at marine ranching in the Bohai Sea was recently initiated in our country. Investigation in to the interspecific relationships and ecological mechanism are necessary to make this affempt successful. Calanus sinicus is a dominant species in the zooplankton of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea,and is an inportant food of pelagic fishes (especially their fingerlings)in these areas.Four-hundred Paracalanus parvus specimens with food in their alimentnry canal were collected in An-gust (Summer, 100 specimens) .October (Autumn, 100 specimens) 1992 and February (winter, 100 specimens) and May-June (Spring, 100 specimens) 1993, by vertical haul with big plankton net(GG 36 mesh,diameter of the net 80cm,length of the net 260cm)from the Bohai Sea.Analysis of the alimentary canal contents of the specimens showed Paracalanus parvus is phytoplank-tonivorous,and feeds mainly on diatoms, which occupy 99. 6% in its food composition, mainly Coscinadiscus radiatus,Coscinodiscus sp. and Coscinadiscus excentricus in nearly the four seasons,and comprising 36. 8%、30. 7% and 14. 2% respectively in its total diet, in addition it also feeds a little bit dinoflagellates. Although the Paracalanus parvus food composition has certain seasonal variation ,it is not obvious. The mean food species replacement rate in four seasons is 20% ,that of the food group is only 0. 5%. Its feeding intensity has obvious seasonal variation,lowest in spring,first peak in summer,decreasing in autumn and second peak in winter.
