神殿，就是供神的建筑物。在中国，各种各类的神殿很多。那么，中国最早的神殿在哪里？在牛河梁遗址，考古队员发现了积石冢和大型的祭坛之后，又一个问题开始出现在脑海里：按照常理，史前文化的墓地从来都不是孤立存在，总是与相关的地面建筑遗迹相伴随。
Temple is the architecture for worship of gods. There are a lot of temples in China. Where is the earliest temple in China？ Archaeologists discovered a mass of cairns and a large- sized altar in Niuheliang Site. Were there buildings of ancestors in Hongshan （the Red Mountain in the Inner Mongolia） about 5000 years before？ In autumn 1983, team members of archaeology started to look for the relic of the buildings of Hongshan ancestors.
