摘要
私立高等教育已经构成印度高等教育迈向大众化的主要力量之一。本文根据私立高等教育办学主体、办学动机、学科倾向以及印度独立与经济社会转型等重要环节,将印度私立高等教育分为自由发展、国有化和私有化三个发展阶段,并详细阐述各阶段的主要形式与特征,希冀能够增进对印度高等教育系统更为全面的理解。
Private higher education has been one of the important driving forces in the popularization of higher education in India. By analyzing the important factors in private higher education, including school principal, school motivation, discipline tendency, and the Indian independence, economic and social transformation, this paper regards that the private higher education in India has three development stages： freedom, nationalization and privatization. The main forms and characteristics in the three stages are described in detail. It is expected that it can provide more comprehensive understanding in higher education system in India.
