摘要
目前,草原在地理学与农学中的内涵有明显差别;草地的含义在植物地理学与资源地理学或农学中亦有显著不同。为了避免混淆,并使其名副其实,建议用牧地(即饲用植物地)替代草原和草地,来概括"以生产各类饲用植物为主的土地"。
The connotations of ＂steppe ＂ （or prairie, savanna, et al.） in geography and in agronomy are not clearly alike, and ＂Grassland＂ in plant geography or in resources geography or in agronomy is also obviously different at present. In order to avoid confusion of the terminology, suggests that the word ＂rangeland＂ could take place of ＂ steppe＂ and ＂grassland＂ , which means the lands of growning various forage plant chiefly.
