一种手写体汉字特征提取新方法——小波变换及弹性网格技术的应用 被引量:24

摘要 利用小波分析方法将汉字图象分解为横、撇、竖、捺4个方向的分量,然后结合弹性网格技术,提出了进行手写体汉字特征提取的一种新方法,实验结果显示此方法是行之有效的。 In this paper, we propose a new feature extraction method for handwritten Chinese character recognition. A Chinese character image is decomposed into four directional subimages based on the analysis of its wavelet transform. With elastic meshing technique, features are extracted from the four subimages respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed approach is very effective.
