摘要
本文集中探讨唐代正月十五燃灯习俗之源流及其嬗变,通过细致爬梳类书、佛经等史料,具体辨析正月十五燃灯习俗的本土来源及外来佛教之影响,详细考述与佛教相关的正月十五节物——灯轮,并进一步分析隋唐宫廷从娱乐到信仰方面对正月十五燃灯的影响,藉以揭示此一节日习俗的制度化过程。透过对上元灯节形成、演变过程的研究,凸显了唐代节日中外来文化与本土习俗共同影响的特性。
This paper discusses the origin and change of the Lantern Festival that was celebrated on January 15 according to the Chinese lunar calendar in Tang dynasty.Based on the study of relevant literature,it probes into lantern wheel—a thing typical of the festival,and reveals how the festival has become a custom. Through studying the formation and change of Lantern Festival,this paper highlights the feature of festivals in Tang dynasty which was under the common influence of both foreign culture and local customs.
