The advanced survey instruments example GPS, total station, Gyroscope etc. are used in survey practice. The large breakthrough survey has specific characteristic that the precision requests high and the survey difficulty is big. It can improve survey precision and working efficiency of the breakthrough survey by using advanced survey instruments.
