摘要
中国古代交通系统具有首先服务于政治和军事的特征。交通条件的皇帝专有和皇权优先制度,交通秩序维护的"贱避贵"原则,交通建设的国家控制方式,以及交通管理的军事化特征等,都有突出的历史表现。在中国帝制时代,交通规划、交通建设和交通管理都体现出比较成熟的水准,然而经济民生能够予以利用的可能性是相对有限的。
The primary characteristic of Chinese ancient transportation system was to serve politics and military. Such system included:the emperor proprietary and precedence institution; the principle of 'the underclass evading the up-class' in transportation order; state control of transportation construction; militarized management of transportation. In ancient times,transportation's design,construction and management were quite mature. But its help to economy and people's life was limited.
