Determination of the Endpoint of the Procedure for Processing Radix Rehmanniae Based on Infrared Spectroscopy-Wavelet Transform-Kernel Independent Component Analysis

摘要 对地黄炮制过程采集样品进行进行红外光谱(IR)测试,利用连续小波变换(CWT)对原始IR数据进行噪音滤除与背景扣除,再对混合信号进行核独立成分分析(KICA),提取其中能够体现纯组分光谱特征轮廓的独立组分(IC)信息,根据独立组分及其相对强度变化趋势表征地黄炮制过程,建立了地黄炮制过程的终点判断的新方法. An approach that using infrared spectroscopy combination with continuous wavelet transform and kernel independent component analysis (IR-CWT-KICA) is proposed for determination of the endpoint of the procedure for processing radix rehmanniae. In the proposed approach, diffuse reflection IR spectra of the samples at different steaming periods are measured. Then the raw IR spectra are pretreated by CWT for elimination of the background and noise signal The independent components (ICs), which are estimated from the CWT coefficients of the raw IR data by KICA and considered as the representation of the spectral features of the mixtures, are used for characterization of the processing procedure. The endpoint of the processing procedure can be obtained from the variation of relative concentrations of the estimated ICs. The endpoint that is decided based on IR-CWT-KICA can avoid the different judgments made by different operators that is based on sensory analysis. It provides an alternative approach for determination of the procedure for processing traditional Chinese medicines.
