Yindonggou Silver-Gold Deposit, located in the Yingdonggou Thrust Sheet of the west part of the Wudang Nappe tectonically, occurs in the ductile shear zones between the meta-volcanic rocks and meta-sedimentary rocks of the Proterozoic Wudang Group, with ore bodies parallel to S3(or S4) showing planar and lenticular shape and along the S2(shear foliation) presenting folding similar with S2. The ore bodies distribute in the core of the Yingdonggou Antiform and are controlled by ductile shear zones strictly. The mineralization of this deposit is closely related to the evolution of the tectonics and structural deformation in this area. The mylonites formed in the early ductile bedded shearing controlled the distribution of primary mineralization layers. The folding and thrusting during the collision between the North.China Platform and the Yangtzi Platform created S3 foliation and made up quartz veins bearing Ag-Au elements. The positioning of the ore bodies is controlled by brittle thrusting or fracturing in the Yangsan - Himalayan Movement. It is dealt with that this deposit is a large-sized superimposed silver-gold and multiple metals.
