摘要
新闻汉英翻译在文化交流中扮演着重要的角色。本文基于功能翻译理论的基本论点,在新闻文体的特点基础上,将功能翻译理论与新闻翻译二者结合起来,指出功能翻译理论为新闻的汉英翻译提供了理论基础,并在此理论基础之上,提出了删译法、增译法、释译法及改译法等翻译策略。
The C-E translation of news is of great significance in cross-cultural communication. Based on functionalist approaches and the main features of the two kinds of news, this paper attempts to combine functionalist approaches with news translation hoping to give some insight into the C-E translation of news. Furthermore, this paper also provides some translation strategies such as omission, addition, explanation and adaptation.
