摘要
本文提出了一种适用于Inscale层间预测算法[6]的SVC(分级视频编码)模式选择方法。对于JSVM模型中的普通模式,利用了空间域宏块模式相关性减少候选模式;对于Inscale预测模式,利用了时间域宏块模式相关性减少候选模式。实验结果表明,新的模式选择算法的引入,能够有效地提升采用Inscale算法的JSVM模型的编码性能,大幅度减少编码时间。
An new SVC mode decision algorithm applying to Inscale algorithm [6]is proposed in this paper. It makes use of spatial mode-distribution correlation to reduce the number of candidate modes for the normal mode in JSVM; and it makes use of temporal mode-distribution correlation to reduce the number of candidate modes for the Inscale mode. Experimental results show that the proposed new technique can significantly improve the coding performance of JSVM, and greatly reduce the encoding time.
