摘要
ATM交换技术是B－ISDN中的关键技术之一.ATM交换网络作为ATM交换机的核心部件，已经得到了广泛和深入的研究．本文从缓冲的概念出发，对各种单播和同播ATM交换网络的结构及其性能进行了全面的评述。
ATM switching technique is one of main techniques in B-ISDN. As the key part of an ATM exchange, ATM switching fadrics have been studied extensively. In this paper, we present a descriptive survey of unicast and multicast ATM switching fabrics, with emphasis on structures and performances, based on buffering concept. foe performances arid implementation complexity of various kinds of buffering ATM switching fabrics are also compared with each other.
