摘要
作为雷电研究及灾害预警的关键设备,雷电定位系统(简称LLS)在国内的电力及气象系统得到了普遍应用,但是对其探测效率目前尚没有切实有效的评价方法。为了解决这一问题,从实践出发,利用计算机软件技术,采用"同心圆法"对上海地区SAFIR3000 LLS的探测效率进行了客观评价,得出结论:(1)随着距离增大,LLS的探测效率逐渐下降,定位误差和所探测到的平均电流强度增大;(2)SAFIR3000 LLS对云地闪的探测效率比较低下,其有效探测范围只有120km左右,远没有达到其生产厂商所宣称的效果;(3)用"同心圆法"评价LLS的探测效率具有科学性,值得在雷电探测及研究领域进行推广。
As pivotal equipment for lightning study and early warning, Lightning Location System (LLS) has been widely used in China. But up to now there is no effective method to evaluate its detection ability. In order to solve this problem, Concentric circles method is proposed to objectively evaluate the detection ability of LLS, practically take SAFIR3000 LLS in Shanghai as example, make use of computer software technology and get the following results: (I) More furthe raway, the detection ability of LLS is more lower, meanwhile more location error and detected average current intensity. (II) Exampled LLS" detection ability far Cloud-to-Ground flashes is rather low, its effective detection range covers only 120 kilometers, which is far less than claimed by its manufacturer. (III) The Concentric Circles Method has its scientific advantage on the evaluation of detection ability of LLS, worthy promoted widely in the field of lightning study.
