摘要
图书馆不能独立于社会之外,它必须承担一定的义务,对社会做出贡献,这样才符合社会规律。本文试图从公益性的角度,说明当代图书馆使命管理,尤其是在传承传统图书馆功能,开拓新的研究、服务领域方面所发挥的作用。
