摘要
模糊性是人类思维和语言的根本属性,并且广泛存在于各种文体语言中。在对英语新闻报道中模糊词存在根源的分析的基础上,根据英语报刊实例和报刊英语文体特点,总结出英语新闻报道中的模糊现象具有三大作用:符合新闻报道的特性、增强新闻报道可信度以及促使新闻报道更加生动形象。同时通过对余富斌从虚实论角度对语言的模糊性与翻译的关系研究,提出在英语新闻中,模糊语言的英汉翻译应该采取模糊对模糊,精确对模糊等翻译策略。
Fuzziness, which exists in all kinds of writing, is an inherent attribute of human language as well as human thinking. The article explores the causes of fuzziness in news reports. Then combining with first-hand exampies from English newspapers and magazines both at home and abroad, this paper attempts to justify the inevitability of fuzzy phenomena in news writing from three aspects ： conforming to the characteristic of news reporting, adding credibility to news reporting and adding vividness and liveliness to news reporting. Furthermore, combining the research between fuzzy language and its translation from the perspective of Fubin Yu＇s imaginary-real theory, the author puts forward that we should use some translation strategies, such as fuzzy expression vs fuzzy expression and fuzzy expression vs accurate expression, etc when translating fuzziness in English journalism.
