摘要
随着业务的快速增长,城域网的带宽达到了它的瓶颈,迫切需要下一代以太网技术来解决这个问题。首先介绍了电信级以太网的几项关键技术,然后通过对目前领先的两项电信级以太网技术PBT和T-MPLS的分析。指出电信级以太网必须解决标准化和商用化等问题,才能得到进一步的发展。
Along with the fast development of the services, the bandwidth of the Metropolitan Area Network has encountered its bottleneck problem, which needs next generation Ethernet to solve this problem. This ariticle introduces critical technologies of Carrier Ethernet at first. Then it analyses two advanced technologies of Carrier Ethernet, Provider Backbone Transport and T- MPLS. It draws a conclusion that the Carrier Ethernet should first deal with the issues of standardization?and commercialization for further application.
