摘要
学术界目前对威尔逊主义和新殖民主义的专门研究比较深入①,但关于威尔逊主义与新殖民主义的关系的探讨尚需继续开展。笔者拟在充分利用现有研究成果的基础上,以威尔逊政府对菲律宾政策为例,梳理威尔逊主义对美国新殖民主义的影响。
Wilsonism suggested that American president Woodrow Wilson formulated and advocated the foreign ideals during his government, incorporating the liberal, democratic and equal values of American foreign policy, basing from American national interests and aiming to reform the world. It is the combination between idealism and realism. Although the academic circle generally agreed that neo-colonialism came into being during the end of the World War Ⅱ, we found that the neo-colonialism basically initiated and formed during the administration of American president Woodrow Wilson, by means of probing into the Wilsonian policy to Philippine. The Wilsonism promoted objectively the formation of the neo-colonialism.
