摘要
结构主义语言学中,结构助词"的"被视为定中短语的修饰语和中心词之间的一个辅助性连接成分,"的"字结构是向心结构,但却无法协调"NP的VP"之类的结构与向心结构理论之间的矛盾;有人则依据生成语法理论将"的"分析为"的"字结构的中心语,由此引发了激烈的争论。本文试图寻找争论的根源,并做出自己的一点思考。
This paper focuses on the syntactic status of de in Chinese nominal phrases. This problem has triggered a heated debate. Someone thinks that de is a complementary component which connects modifiers and head of adnominal-head phrases, de structure is a endocentric structure, but there are some contradictions between the structures like “NP de（的）VP” and Bloomfield′s theory of endocentric constructure. Someone considers that de is the head of the de structure under the generative framework. This article tries to find the source of the controversy by comparing Bloomfield＇s theory of endocentric constructure with head theory.
