偏振光斯托克斯参量测量原理与测量方法设计 被引量:7

Measurement Principle and Experimental Design of Polarized Light's Stokes Parameters

摘要 斯托克斯参量是描述偏振光特性的重要参量,它能给出偏振光的偏振度(DOP)的数值,因此偏振分析仪多采用测量斯托克斯参量的方法来设计。从斯托克斯参量的定义出发,利用准单色光波的相干矩阵法,推导了斯托克斯参量的测量原理,并提供了多种实验测量斯托克斯参量的设计方法。对比分析了三种测量斯托克斯参量的方法,并用相干矩阵方法证明了用测量光功率表达的偏振度的正确表达式。 Stokes parameters are important for description of polarized light, and they are used in most states of polarization(SOP)analyzers. According to the definition of Stokes parameters, the measurement principle and design of the Stokes parameters are discussed by the coherency matrix of quasi-monochromatic plane wave. Three measurement methods of the Stokes parameters are presented and discussed. The expression of polarization degree is derived by using coherency matrix as well.
