In this paper,the examine results of the chromosome of 1 281 newborns is Dalian area have been reported.It has been found that there are 19 cases with abnormal chromosome,which is about 0.26% of the 7 138 newborns being born in the same period.From the detected results of the chromosomal brittleness position of 576 cases,it is found that the brittleness positions of 47 cases are sensitive to folic acid,and of 3 cases are at X 9.27.3,i.e.Fragile X Syndrome.
