摘要
农科专业英语是普通高等学校农学类专业选修课程之一。专业英语的翻译尤其是长句的翻译是教学的重点与难点。本文以具体实例对农科专业英语长句翻译的技巧做了探讨。
Special English for Agriculture is one of the selective courses for agricultural subject in colleges and unversities. Translation problems involved in Special English, especially in longer sentences are what translation teaching concerns most. This paper, through a large number of examples, explores the effective strategies in translating long sentences in Agriculture English.
