摘要
现已知延髓腹外侧区在呼吸调节和心血管调节中起着重要作用．延髓腹外侧区有两个重要的血管运动中枢，称为头侧和尾侧血管运动中枢．参与呼吸调节的中枢化学感受器位于延髓腹外侧区浅表部位；延髓腹外侧区还参与中枢和外周化学感受器的传入冲动的整合．
It is well known that the ventrolateral medulla oblongata plays an important role in regulating respiratory and cardiovascular systems. In the vetrolateral medulla oblongata area there are two important vasomotors, namely rostral and caudal vasomotors. The chemoreceptors incorporating respiratory regulation is located in the superficial part of ventrolateral medulla oblongata, which is also involved in the integration of afferent input from both the central and peripheral chemoreceptors. Briefly reviewed were some paramount controversial issues.
