台中文化之心主要目的．在整合地方级的文化中心及美术馆整体公共空间，使之成为一个台中市文化核心的新起点．进而向国绿园道及美术园道延伸；当年日本殖民统治者为了创造舒适的生活环境．在台中市设计了好几条河川，梅川是其中最接近艺术文化的河道．流经文化中心国美术馆前．据说当年梅川还没加盖时．是文人雅士聚集地,站在梅川之上．我们在2006年想像回到台中市建城的1880年，以10年为单位．1880，1890．
Design a Park Avenue for Collecting
Culture The main project purpose of Taichung Cultural Heart is to reorganize the public space of local culture- center and national art museum to be the new cuttural center in Taichung City. During the colonial period, Japanese designed several rivers in order to improve the quality of living environment. Mei River is the closest river course to the art and culture ambience. People said that schotars and artists were used to actives along the riverside until the Mei River was covered by concrete. Therefore we bring a 200-year cultural map to the city. Starting from 1880 white the Taichun8 city was built, we connect park avenue system and time line into the new art collection system. We put ornamental frame and balcony in the landscape to collect local arts. The beautifut vision of this project, we believe,
