摘要 甲午战争后,"侨资"被清廷认定为芦汉铁路建设的重要资金。盛宣怀与张之洞、王文韶等人共谋,将张振勋从南洋调回国内,共同参与铁路的筹建,张振勋侨领和富商的身份成为他们应付清廷及对付竞争对手的有效手段。张振勋主张以包揽广东境内的铁路修筑权以吸引富有的粤侨商人的投资。在实践中,张振勋被任命为中国铁路总公司和通商银行的第一总董,成为一面引进"侨资"的旗帜,并完成了在南洋的招商任务。张振勋介入芦汉铁路建设,成为晚清时期引进侨资的先声,对此后侨资在中国的经济建设及晚清华侨政策的变化都产生了重大而深远的影响。 After The Sino-Japanese War, because a few overseas Chinese merchants were involved in preparing to construct the Beijing-Hankow line and overseas Chinese investment were regarded as the important fund by the Qing government, Sheng Xuanhuai, Zhang Zhidong and Wang Wenshao recalled Zhang Zhenxun from Southeast Asia to participate in fundr-aising for tbe railway,so that they could make use of his identity of a wealthy businessman and an overseas Chinese chief and deal with the competitors. Zhang Zhenxun reported that overseas Chinese merchants wouldn't invest anywhere but Guangdong. In order to attract their investments, Sheng Xuanhuai insisted on that the Railroad Head Office being founded soon must be permited to prepare to construct the railroad in Guangdong. In practice, Zhang Zhenxun was appointed as the first general director of the Chinese Railroad Head Office and the Imperial Bank of China,and he became a banner introducing into overseas Chinese investment, accomplished raising capital in Southeast Asia. Zhang Zhenxun involved in the Beijing-Hankow line construction had a significant and far-reaching impact,It became a harbinger that overseas Chinese invested in China, and developed the overseas Chinese policy in late Qing Dynasty.
