20世纪早期,随着社会学的传入与发展,中国第一批社会学者对国内社会开展了调查,留下大量的调查成果,开启了中国社会调查之先河。其中伍锐麟的华南社会调查,与华北地区开展的社会调查遥相呼应,奠定了华南社会学的基础。伍锐麟的社会调查涉及广泛,特点鲜明,影响深远。
In the early 1900s, with the introduction and development of sociology, the first batch of sociology scholars began to conduct surveys of the then society, left large amounts of survey heritage and started the tradition of social survey in China. Wu Ruilin, echoing the sociology experts in North China, made surveys in South China and laid the foundation for sociology here. His surveys were extensive, unique and far--reaching in influence.
