For many years exploration geochemistry has been focusing it′s effort on studying the various types of secondary dispersion halos, secondary dispersion trains and primary dispersion halos exposed on the land surface and has obtained many successes in discovery of ore bodies hidden beneath thick layer of residual overburdens or post ore rocks. But it′s not so efficient to discover ore bodies deeply buried beneath various kind of transported overburdens or post ore sedimentary and volcanic rocks. During the 1980′s and the 1990′s, various kind new geochemical techniques with the ability of deep penetration through thick exotic covers have been developed. Most of these new methods have been used in detailed surveys to delineate the probably deeply seated ore bodies which could not be ascertained by conventional geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys. But the Chinese NAMEG and MOMEO methods can be used both tactically and strategically. The strategic NAMEG and MOMEO surveys will play important role in the search of very large to giant ore deposits in concealed terrain′s. Results of such strategic deep penetration geochemical surveys around giant Muruntau Au deposit in Uzbekstan and around giant Olympic Cu U Au Ag deposit in Australia are given.
