南京直立人生活的时代为３５００００年前的中更新世中期，其生活环境为亚热带环境，气候温和，温差较小，但有干、湿交替变化。此后气候环境则趋于变干。
The living time of Nanjing Homo erectus should be in the Middle Pleistocene of about 350000 years ago.Nanjing Homo erectus lived in a subtropical climatic environment with temperate climate,small temperature difference,and dry and wet alternation.Latterly,the climate had a tendency of getting drier and drier.
