摘要
黄伯荣、廖序东主编的《现代汉语》增订四版对增订三版做了较大修改,体现在第六章"修辞"中,这种修改可以概括为三种类型:改动、删削与增添。修改在整体上是值得肯定的,尤其是在修辞定义、修辞格的删削和增添方面比较成功。虽然也有尚待商榷之处,但是总体上是成功的。
There have been great modifications in ＂Modem Chinese Language （The Fourth Revision Edition）＂Compiled by Huang Bo-rong and Liao Xu-dong.In particular,the modification to rhetoric in Chapter Six can be summed up in three types ： correcting, deleting and adding. In general, the three types of modification are worthwhile and successful.
