江苏丹徒十里长山石英矿选矿试验研究

摘要 作者叙述了重选和磁选方法对十里长山石英岩的除铁效果,指出经过磁选的矿石 Fe_2O_3含量有较大幅度降低,符合玻璃生产要求,为利用石英岩资源提供了可行的途径。 The quartz ore deposit of shilichangshan is located in Dantu county,Jiangsu Province.Its ore type belongs to the gravel-bearing quartz sandstone,and main and secondary minerals are respectively quartz and clay,feldspar etc.The analysis of chemical and mineral composi- tion expresses that the Fe_2O_3 content in quartz is up to 0.84 per cent and that main iron- bearing minerals are magnetite,siderite,pyrite,iron silicate and perlimonite etc.,that equilib- rium coefficient of iron metal quantity in main minerals is 76.20 per cent.These iron-bearing minerals are difficult to remove by a cleaning method.Based on above mentioned facts,dres- sing technologies are selected:1.using gravity separation to investigate problem existed in production in the past;2.using magnetic separation to remove iron.As a result,the Fe_2O_3 content in concentrate of quartz sand dressed by the gravity separation is still difficult to meet index requirement,because of a magnetic cohesive reaction between quartz and iron- bearing minerals.Then,the dry and wet magnetic separation are considered as two methods favour of iron removal treatment in the experiment.The Fe_2O_3 content in concentrate of qua- rtz sand,+0.1mm,dressed by dry magnetic separation decreases to 0.2 per cent i.e.80 per cent of the rate of iron removal,meeting a requirement of glass raw material;the Fe_2O_3 content in concentrate of quartz sand,-0.1mm dressed decreases to 0.3 per cent with a rate of iron removal,65 per cent.The Fe_2O_3 content in two concentrates separated are respecti- vely 0.13 per cent and 0.26 per cent.The experiment found that the efficiency of wet mag- netic separation is better than dry method.
