摘要
本文叙述了江苏省的五大优势矿产及其基本特征,指出非金属矿产在我省优势矿产中占有特别重要的地位。充分开发利用非金属矿产和我省唯一的优势金属铅锌银矿产,意义重大,前景良好。
According to the principles of large scale,fine quality ores and perfect minering technical and economic conditions,the dominant mineral resources in Jiangsu Province can be divided into five groups,i.e.clays,building materials,chemical raw materials,nonferrous metals and other special usage minerals,involving totally twenty kinds of which the potential economic value of explored reserves exceeds 20 m.yuan with 3000 b.yuan potential economic value of predicted reserves. Of the twenty kinds dominant minerals mentioned above,seventeen kinds of non-metal minerals have a very important role,which the general economic value surpass greatly that of meatal and noble metal minerals.But non-metal minerals especially as filling minerals can be also used in many industrial departments.The other important characters of dominant non -metal minerals are mostly distributed around the large cities with complete kinds and good quality,therefore forming four productive bases of non-metal minerals in Lian Yungang, Xuzhou,Nanjing-Zhenjiang and Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou.These regions provided with per- fect mining,processing and economic conditions are considered to be necessary for the deve- lopment of non-metal minerals. The metal minerals like lead,zinc and silver,concentrately distributed in Nanjing and west Suzhou areas are characteristic of high grade and good prospects,composed of only associa- tion of dominant metal minerals.Usually,the grade of both lead and zinc ores are higher but most of them are associated with silver ore which can be comprehensively utilizated.
