A high performance liquid chromatographic method for quantitative and qualitative analysis of 3,4 -dimethoxy -4＇ - chlofie - dibenzophenone was established using a YWG C18 liquid phase chromatography column and UV detector, methanol - water as the mobile phase. The standard deviation was less than or equal to 0.41% ,coefficient of variation was less than 0.48%, and average recovery was 99.03%.
