摘要
钓鱼岛石是作为在冲绳海精表层沉积物中发现的新矿物被报导的。笔者对铬冶炼副产品的研究表明，它与钓鱼岛石无论在化学组成、物理性质、晶体结构或金属铬包裹体的存在等方面，都基本一致。考虑地球化学上的不利因素，以及目前尚未发现原生露头，作者认为钓鱼岛石可能有天然岩浆以外的来源。经过水下浊流、重力流再搬运的冶金工业废弃物为其中之一。
Diaoyudaoite is reported as a new mineral found in the surface sediments of Okinawa-Trough. Laboratory research on Cr smelting by-product shows that it is comparable with diaoyu-daoite in chemical composition,physical properties,crystal structure and metal Cr enclosure. Con-sidering some un favorable geochemical factors, and that the original occurrence of diaoyudaoite hasnot yet been disc0vered, possible source other than natural magma should be taken into account-Metallurgical waste, re-distributed by turbdite and other kinds of gravity flows is 0ne of them.
