摘要
本文在以往研究成果的基础上，从金刚石在贵州各水系、岩体及地层中的分布与晶貌特征、产出的地貌部位，并结合深部地质构造对贵州金刚石的成矿地质条件作粗浅的分析和讨论。
The authors believed that there is great possibility of searching for primary diamond deposits in Guizhou after their research on the geological setting necessary for the formation of diamondiferous theies or pipes, including deep geological structure and the petrogenesis and thermal property of the mantle. The wide dispersion of diamonds in the drainage and sediments are enough to support this opinion that there are unkown areas where diamond - bearing bodies occur, although the mantle beneath the Yangtze block is less depleted and less rich in LREE than either the Huabei block of the northern China or the Kimberley Province of the western Australia. On the other hand, the post - diamond erosion is key to find primary diamondiferous theies. The preservation of carrying diamond booties is also discussed based on denudation in Guizhou.
